    在作翻英時, 必須要注意英美人士所喜歡的用詞，而且意義是多樣的。

             例如，

                        信心是基督信仰的重心。               It's a matter of faith。                                     

                                                                                那有什么关系!                                 What does it matter!  

                        颜色重要吗 ?                                    Does it matter what colour it is?     

                        無論如何，我總跟隨他。                                           No matter where he goes，I will follow him。    

                                                                                    無論那棟房子有多貴，我都要。      No matter how that house costs，I'll buy it。 

                                          沒有關係。                                                                                                                                       It doesn't matter.

           三月五日的曠野筵席有苦澀的菜餚，也有美味供訪客品嚐。因為

「無論在什么地方傳這福音，也要述說這女人所做的事。」（可14:9）

為什么主耶穌這樣說呢？因為福音是應該產生這种奉獻的行動的，這就是福音的目的。福音不單是要滿足罪人，贊美神，罪人在福音里，有他所應得的部份，神應付他的需要并厚賜祝福。但我們可以這樣說：這不過是福音的副產品，卻不是福音的正鵠。傳福音的首要目的，在于讓主得到滿足。但我們必須牢記，我們若不把自己「枉費」在祂身上，祂就永遠得不到滿足。你是否在對主奉獻上做得太多了呢？可否讓我告訴你一件事？在神圣的事奉上，「枉費」的原則就是得能力的原則。你在神手中真實的屬靈用處，其大小乃根据你在祂身上「枉費」了多少。我們為主所做的工，乃是源于我們對祂的服事；工作的效果，也基于此。

"Wherever this gospel is preached, tell what this woman did." (Mark 14:9)

Why did the Lord Jesus say this? Because the Gospel is supposed to produce this act of giving, which is the purpose of the Gospel. The gospel is not only to satisfy the sinner, praise God, the sinner has his due part in the gospel, God meets his needs and blesses him generously. But we can say this: this is only a by-product of the gospel, but it is not the goal of the gospel. The primary purpose of evangelism is to satisfy the Lord. But we must remember that unless we "waste" ourselves on Him, He will never be satisfied. Are you doing too much in giving to the Lord? May I tell you one thing? In divine service the principle of "waste" is the principle of power. Your true spiritual usefulness in the hands of God is measured by how much you have "wasted" on Him. The work we do for the Lord springs from our service to Him, and the results of our work are based on it.
