(52) What am I going to do? 3/1/2023

(52)            What am I going to do?

(What am I going to do?

He didn’t reply.   Does he understand ?
(2).  加强句子的语气,  :  I do hope that he will succeed.

若翻成   Where are you work?  (这就翻错了,因"are"  "work"
要借重“do”.   Where do you work? )

Where are you going?
                                 Where do you go?
                                  What are you saying?

March 1st

"He grew up like a shoot before the LORD, and like a root out of dry ground." (Isaiah 53:2)

A plant gets its nourishment from the root, and the root also becomes the channel of life. Plants cannot survive without root tissue. If it has roots, it may struggle to survive under the worst circumstances. The words of Isaiah show us that the Lord Jesus himself did not obtain life and power from the external environment. So should we. If necessary, we are also able to live without the support of our brethren in the Lord. But even when we are surrounded by brethren, we live only with them, not by them. The secret source of our lives is only God Himself.

But the phrase "like a root out of dry ground" has a deeper meaning, which is to say that nothing out of circumstances can destroy us. The drought of the earth cannot wither the tender shoots of God. Even in the most barren, even hostile environment, God's children are fully equipped to become "more than conquerors." (Romans 8:37) Their life is Christ Himself.
