(69) .... And everything that does not come from faith is sin。 ....

"Therefore accept one another, as Christ
accepted you, to the glory of God" (Romans 15:7)
In the previous chapter, various views on the life of the church (such as eating food and observance of days, etc.) were discussed. Paul discussed from beginning "for God has received him" (Romans 14:3) and to the end likewise with "as Christ has received you" (Romans 15:7). Here is a simple and basic basis for Christians to communicate with each other, that is, as long as they belong to the Lord and we belong to the Lord, this is enough. Yet, sadly, when you and I meet, we talk always about the differences; we don't praise our Lord, but to critising, arguing about our different things and determing who is right, or what is wrong. The passage quoted above (Romans 14:3-15:7) describes a lot of example about the different views, but Paul did not making any decision. Because he cares about the Christians' fellowship. That is the fellowship neither is based on one's opinion, whether it is right or wrong; nor is based on other people's decision to believe in the same way as I do, or have the exact same experience. The only key point is: did God accept him? If it was, I have to accept him as our God did.
