愛我們的主耶穌基督，謝謝祢賜給我們新生命忍耐的特徵，因為祢的時間最恰當，按時給我們所需的，不旱不晚，都是照祢的旨意成全。奉主耶穌基督的聖名禱告。阿們。
親愛的訪友，二月二十一日的曠野筵席充分顯示上帝的創造，祂每作完一項創造，都說是好的。絕對不是根據演化論的假設是進化。 不! 不可能。亞當是善的，但被撒旦所誘惑，犯罪，違背上帝的旨意。 才有今天帶苦味的一盤菜餚。
「我們原曉得律法是屬靈的，但我是屬乎肉體的，是已經賣給罪了。」（羅7:14）
如果你有一個很笨拙的仆人，只要他坐著不動，那么他的笨拙就難得顯明出來。他若整日不做一點事情，當然這樣他對你是沒有什么用處，但也不致有什么害處。如果你對他說：「起來做些事吧！不要整天坐在那里，虛耗寶貴的時光！」這樣，麻煩就開始發生了！當他一起來時，他就把坐椅撞倒，走了几步，又絆跌在一個腳凳上！然后他拿了几個珍貴的碟子，又很快的把碟子全跌碎了！你在他身上如果沒有什么要求，那他的笨拙還不容易顯出來。但當你吩咐他做一些事情時，他的笨拙立刻就表現出來了。同樣的，神的律法對于我們也是如此。律法的要求是對的，但我們這個人不對！因為我們在本性上徹頭徹尾是個罪人，不過沒有律法的設立，我們就一直發覺不出自己是罪人。當神尚未向我們有什么要求時，那么，一切仍可維持水波不興，平安無事的光景。可是當神在我們身上有了稍微的要求時，我們那(驕傲，眼目的情慾，肉體的情慾等等。註:翻釋者加添。) 罪性的敗坏就有机會來一次盛大展覽了！「叫罪因著誡命更顯出是惡極了！」（羅7:13）
If you have a servant who is very clumsy, his clumsiness is seldom shown as long as he sits there doing nothing. If he is just all day long setting quietly, of course he will be of little use to you, but it will not do any harm. If you ask him doing something, "Get up and do something! Don't sit there quietly all day long to waste your precious time!" Then it will begin some trouble to happen! When he got up, he knocked over the chair, took a few steps, and stumbled on a footstool! Then he brought a few precious plates and quickly made them fallen down and broke all of them! If you have no demands on him, then his clumsiness will not be easily showed off. But when you tell him to do something, his clumsiness will show at once. In the same case, the law of God is true to us. The laws are right, but we are sinners! For we are sinners by nature, without the law we did not know our sins. When we do something for God, then it will show our sins at once. But when God asked us to do something for Him, our sinful nature (驕傲，眼目的情慾，肉體的情慾等等。註:翻釋者加添。)will have immediately making a grand show! “ so that through the commandment sin might become utterly sinful!" (Romans 7:13)
