二月八日的曠野筵席是以耶穌基督自己的寶血, 成了我們的永遠贖罪的事.

「但現在基督已經來到，作了將來美事的大祭司....... 乃用自己的血，只一次進入圣所，成了永遠贖罪的事。」（來  9:11-12）

如果我們要欣賞基督寶血的价值，我們必須接受神對寶血的估价。因為這血首先不是為著我，乃是為著神。舊約時代的贖罪日，很清晰的解釋這件事。利未記十六章告訴我們，在贖罪日，大祭司要將那獻為贖罪祭牲的血帶進至圣所，并在神面前洒了七次。這個祭物，當然是在會幕的院子里，公開在會眾面前宰殺而獻上的。但只有大祭司一人單獨的帶著血進入至圣所。在那些需要贖罪之人的眼睛所望不見的至圣所里，大祭司單獨的將贖罪的血洒在神面前。對于這件事我們必須非常的清楚，基督的寶血首先是為著要給神看的，不是要給人看的。這位圣洁而公義的神既接納了寶血，并且承認祂自己已經滿足了，所以我們對寶血的估价，也就應該扎根于這個神圣的事實。

When Christ came as high priest of good things already are already here, He went through  the greater and more perfect sanctuary that is not man-made, that is to say, not a part of this creation.  He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves, but He entered the Most Holy Place once for all by His own blood, having obtained eternal redemption." (Hebrews 9

If we are to appreciate the value of the blood of Christ, we must accept God's evaluation of the blood. Because the blood is first for God, not for me. The Day of Atonement in the Old Testament era explains this very clearly. Leviticus 16 tells us that on the Day of Atonement the high priest was to bring the blood of the sin offering into the Holy of Holies and sprinkle it seven times in front of the God.  Of course, this sacrifice was sacrificed publicly in front of the congregation in the courtyard of the Tabernacle. But only the high priest alone entered the Holy of Holies with blood. In the Holy of Holies, out of sight of those who needed atonement, the high priest alone sprinkled the atoning blood before the God. We must be very clear about this matter. The precious blood of the Christ is first of all to be seen by God, not by man. Since the holy and just God accepts the blood and admits that He is satisfied, our evaluation of the blood should be rooted in this divine fact.
