愛我們的主耶穌基督, 謝謝祢給我們迦納的榜樣, 使我們在老年, 仍能靠祢的恩典達成祢的願望, 藉著祢的大能, 不畏懼, 要彰顯祢的榮耀。奉主耶穌基督的聖名禱告。阿們。二月二十日的晨曦靈修告訴我們 : 一位虛懷若谷的八十五歲的老人迦勒, 他仍雄心勃勃要回上帝賜他的產業。他的身體仍然健壯，證明他沒有放縱肉體，以至攪到身體衰敗；他的靈命仍然如此活潑，證明他沒有離開上帝；他的信心仍然如此堅強，證明他和上帝的關係非常親密，對上帝的話語絕無懷疑；他的心志也沒有衰老，證明他一生專心跟從祂的心沒有變質。迦勒人生真是奮戰不懈。是值得我們效法的人生榜樣。編輯者希望我們研讀中翻英的課業應努力以赴, 效法迦勒奮戰不懈, 求不放棄! 請仔細品嚐這筵席。
「所以希伯侖作了基尼洗族耶孚尼的儿子迦勒的產業，直到今日，因為他專心跟從耶和華以色列的神。」（書14:14）
「我們足能得胜！」這是每一個全心信靠神的人必有的宣告。因他信神一切的應許，無一不可靠。因他信神直到如今是常与祂的子民同在，毫無疑議可以胜過每一個仇敵。你是否如此相信呢？許多人雖然相信了，但他們的信心卻是搖擺不定的！他們雖然發出贊美神的歌聲，那些話也是對的，但在他們的音調中，卻是滿布黯淡，躊躇和不決！迦勒卻不是這樣。他的歌聲是多么堅定而響亮！請听他那勇敢昂揚的聲調：
「我們立刻上去得那地罷!
我們足能得胜」!
迦勒對他的神，是沒有一點怀疑的。請特別注意上文第一句的得胜歌聲：「我們立刻上去！」真實的信心，絕不遲慢耽延。凡承認神的話語是信實可靠者，他不但竭力遵行神的命令，并且也必立刻上去。
"Therefore
"We are
strong enough to overcome!" This is the full of faith to declare that we
must have the land by trusting God with all their heart. Because he believed in
all the promises of God, and none of them were unreliable. Because he believes
that God is always with His people until now, and he can undoubtedly overcome
every enemy. Do you believe so? Many people believed, but their faith was
wavering! Although they sang praises to God, and those words were true, their
tone was full of gloom, hesitation and indecision! Not so Caleb. How firm and
resounding is his singing! Hear his bold and high-spirited voice:
"Let us go up
to that land at once!
We can
overcome!"
Caleb trusted his
God with all his heart. Please pay special attention to the victory song in the
first sentence above: "We will go up at once!" We will always act immediately by real faith.
He whoever acknowledges that God's word is faithful and trustworthy will not
only to obey God's command with all their heart, but he will act to go up at
once.你們所遇見的試探，無非是人所能受的。上帝是信實的，祂必不叫你們受試探過於你們所能忍受的；而且在你們受試探的時候，祂總會給你們開一條出路，使你們能忍受得住。(哥林多前書10:13 新國際版)
