286  中翻英(26)        After God's blessing is war.        上帝祝福後就是戰爭.    2/3/2023  

agreement, 一致.  英文句子中的特色是要各個部分一致. 主語與述語的各部分,     如:   在人稱(person), 数(number), 性(gender), 或位置(case) 相同時, 叫做一致.  注意這是與中文最大相異之處,   也是比較難應用及記住的一處,   諸如:

(1)      主詞和動詞 (subject and verb): We are ready. 

(2)      同位名詞 (substantive in apposition): He, a man of science, said so.

(3)      述部主格和主詞 (predicate nominative and subject): They seemed fine fellows.

(4)      代名詞和其述詞 (pronoun and its antecedent): The boys corrected their mistakes.

(5)      This, that, these, those等指出形容詞 (demonstrative adjective) 和其所形容的字: This book and these boxes are mine.

神實在是這樣說過：「雅各是我所愛的，以掃是我所惡的。」（羅9:13）而神所愛的，祂就賜福給他。這是一件何等嚴肅的事！大衛曾失敗過，亞伯拉罕曾犯錯誤，以撒很懦弱，雅各很詭詐，然而神的祝福卻臨到他們每一個人身上。今日，你也許比雅各馴良得多，但若缺少神的祝福，那你只有徒喚奈何！要學習不遺余力地去囤積神的祝福，又要肅清任何會導致喪失神祝福的事物。也許有弟兄，他的恩賜不及你，你可能受試探輕視他，然而神卻祝福他。你呢？一次又一次，做了對的事，但神卻扣住了祂的祝福，你敢說這是神錯了么？要當心，不要對神的揀選有不公平的感覺而生气。如果你嫉妒神使用別人，結果只不過叫你自己受虧損。我們能否結出果子，全在乎神的祝福。但是我們很可能因著自己的話語，態度，意見等等，截斷了神祝福的流。讓我們深切認識神對待我們的法則，若沒有神的祝福，我們就不能生活！

"Is not Esau Jacob's brother? But I love Jacob." (Mal. 1:2)

God actually said : " I loved Jacob, Esau I hated." (Romans 9:13)  God loves one whom He will bless him. What a serious matter that is! David failed; Abraham made mistakes; Isaac was cowardly; Jacob was deceitful;  each of them eceived God's blessing yet. Today, you may be much more docile than Jacob, but if you lost God’s blessing, then your live will be in vain! You have to learn in your way to hold God's blessings, and to find out what would cause you to lose God's blessings. There may be a brother who receives God' gifts not as good as yours, and you may be tempted to despise him, but God blesses him.  But how about you?  Once more, you did the right thing, but God withheld His blessings. Do you dare to say that God is wrong? Be careful, you could not have a feeling of unfair about anger at God's choosing. If you are jealous about God's using others person, you will only end up hurting yourself. We will bear fruit or not; it depends entirely on God's blessing. But we could be interrupt of the blessing flow from God, due to our bad behaviors . Let us pay deeply attention to God's law for His blessing,  After God's blessing is war, we have to fight for living!
