「亞基帕王阿，我故此沒有違背那從天上來的异象。」（徒26:19）
 
乃是那從天上來的大光，使徒保羅一生之久將自己獻上，這順服是出自异象。雖然，凡將自己奉獻給神的，在父神的眼中都是十分珍貴的；可是盲目的奉獻，在事奉上卻不能持久。我想當我們悔改得救以后，那初步，天真和未受教導過的奉獻，与那更進一步，因為見了父神偉大計划所產生的奉獻，是大不相同的！前者的奉獻，是基于我們個人所獲得和享受的救恩，父神不會立刻對我們有任何嚴厲的要求。但當祂敞開祂的心，將祂自己所要做的向我們啟示以后，祂便尋求我們甘心樂意的反應，從此以后，祂在我們身上的要求就逐步加深。我們是根据一個新的認識，便向祂獻上我們的心愿，同時祂也接納了我們這新的奉獻。今后，我們的一生，都要進入這一個奉獻中，并且是一直的進入。
  
"Wherefore, O King Agrippa, I was not disobdient unto the heavenly vision." (Acts 26:19)
 
It was that flash of light from heaven, making apostle Paul’s lifelong consecration of
himself, and his obedience sprang from the vision. For while it remains true that all 

            self-committal to God is very precious to Him, blind self-committal may not serve Him very far.   There is, I think, a difference between the initial, pure but uninstructed consecration that follows our conversion and that further giving of ourselves that may spring out of a seeing of the plan of the Father God! The former consecration is based on the salvation we have personally obtained and enjoyed, and God the Father will not immediately impose any strict requirements on us. But when He opens His heart to reveal to us what He wants done, and when having asked for our willingness He receives our flesh response, then it is that His demands upon our giving intensify.  We have pledged our word on the basis of a new understanding, and He takes us anew our word.  Hereafter all we have must go into it, all the way.
