「因為我們作仇敵的時候，且借著神儿子的死，得与神和好，既已和好，就更要因祂的生得救了。」（羅 5:10）
神在祂自己的話中，已很清楚的向我們闡明：祂對人類每一個的需要，只有一個答案，那就是祂的儿子主耶穌基督。在祂對待我們的一切道路中，祂工作的方式就是把「我們」的成分除掉，然后以基督代替那真空的位置。神的儿子代替我們死了，使我們的罪得赦免，祂現在又代替我們活了，使我們得釋放，得自由。所以，在這里我們看見兩個「替換」。第一個「替換」是在十字架上，為著使我們得赦免。另一個「替換」是在我們里面，為著叫我們得胜。如果我們恒常不斷的，把這真理的事實擺在我們面前，那就是：神只用一個方法——借著更多將祂的儿子啟示給我們——來答應我們一切的問題。那么，我們不但可減少了許多的紛亂和麻煩，同時也可得到真實确切的幫助。
"For if, when
we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more,
being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life" (Romans 5:10).
God has clearly
stated to us in His own words: He has only one answer to every human need, and
that is His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. In all His dealing with us, He works by
taking us out of the way and substituting Christ in our place. The Son of God
died instead of us for our forgiveness; He lives instead of us for our deliverance.
So, we see two "substitutions": a Substitute on the cross who secures our
forgiveness. and a Substitute within who secures our victory. It will help us
greatly, and save us from much confusion, if we keep constantly before us this
fact, that God will answer all our questions in but one way — by showing us more
of His Son. Then, we reduce not only a lot of chaos and troubles, but also get a
real help.
