「我們与神同工的，也勸你們，不可徒受祂的恩典。」（哥林多后書     6:1）

神為著祂自己的緣故拯救了我們。保羅說：「我乃是竭力追求，或者可以得著基督耶穌所以得著我的。」（腓立比書3:12）我們蒙召，不只是為著永遠的救恩（靈魂得救），更是為著神計划中一個非常确定的目的，好叫我們与神同工。神今天的作為是什么呢？就是祂要把万有都總結在基督里。祂不讓宇宙間任何事物与祂所高舉的儿子不和諧。我該如何才能与神同工合作，我怎能有分于這偉大的事工呢？雖然我不知道，但我可以效法保羅的榜樣——「竭力追求不是以為自己已經得著了。我只有一件事，就是忘記背后努力面前的，向著標竿直跑，要得神在基督耶穌里從上面召我來得的獎賞。所以我們中間凡是成熟的信徒，總要存這樣的心。」（腓立比書3:12-15）

"Working together with God we intreat also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain." 

(2 Corinthians 6:1)

 

God has saved us for Himself.  “I press on,”  says Paul, “or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that which Christ Jesus took hold of me.” (Philippians 3:12).  We were not for eternal salvation (soul saving) only  but for a quite definite purpose now; to be God’s fellow workers.  What is His work today? It is to sum up all things in Christ. He allows nothing in the universe out of harmony with His exalted Son. How can I cooperate with God?  How can I even touch so great a work? I don’t know ;  but I can follow Paul’s example — “I press on not for thinking I have already got it. But one thing I do : Forgetting what is behind and straining toward  what is ahead.  I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Therefore all of us who are mature should take this in mind.” (Philippians 3:12-15)

在中文裡連詞很少用，有和，與，同，及 並等等。但在中翻英練習裡却比較困難。因為英文句子在結構

上比較邏輯，意思表達很確切。

        例如： 

                    中文:   他勇敢和聰明。

                     英文:  He is not only brave but also wise.  

                   中文:   拿出你們的書, 並翻到第十頁.                        

          英文:  Take out your book and open them at page ten.

 請做下面的練習:

1. 她既愛他又恨他。

2. 他既不飲酒亦不抽煙。

3. 她除了能說英語還能說法語。

4. 你和我都不快樂。

5. 約翰和湯姆同樣愛上瑪麗。
