「這些人未曾沾染婦女，她們原是童身。羔羊無論往哪里去，她們都跟隨祂。她們是從人間買來的，作初熟的果子歸与神和羔羊。」（啟14:4）
我的家鄉（福建省）出產著名的橘子，我肯定的說（這也許是我的偏見），全世界任何地方難得找出像這樣优良品种的橘子。當橘子盛產的季節開始后，你可遙望山上那一整片碧綠蔥翠的橘林！如果你更加細心的觀察，你將發現在橘林的這邊和那邊，已經有了少數黃金色的橘子出現在樹梢上。哦！万綠叢中散布著點點搶眼的金黃果子，那是一幅多么令人悅目的美麗圖畫！以后，全部橘林的果子都成熟了，整個橘林也由深綠色轉變為金黃色。但在目前，只有些初熟的果子先被收獲。果農們很細心逐個逐個的摘取下來，以爭取市場上那高昂的价錢。最初上市的橘子，比其余陸續上市的橘子，价錢通常高出三倍。我們确信所有基督徒的屬靈生命，不論以何种方式，遲早總要達到成熟的階段。但是，「羔羊」卻在極端渴市的時期，搜尋一班初熟的果子.
"These were undefiled with women, they were virgins. They followed the Lamb wherever he went. They were bought from among men, and were the first-fruits to God and to the Lamb." (Revelation 14:4)
My hometown (Fujian Province) is
famous for its oranges. I would say (though
doubtless I am prejudiced) that there are none like them anywhere in the world.
As you look out on the hills at the beginning
of the orange season, all the groves are green. But if you observe more carefully, you will see,
scattered here and there on the trees, golden oranges already showing up. It is a beautiful picture to see the flecks of
gold dotted among the dark green trees. Afterwards, the whole orange will
ripen and the groves will turn to gold, but now it is these first-fruits that are
harvested. They are carefully hand-picked, and it is they that fetch the top market
price, often as much as three times the price of the other oranges of the harvest.
All Christians will reach ripeness
somehow, we are assured. But the “Lamb” seeks
first-fruits for His hour of supreme demand.
