                     But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel,                                even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts.                                                                             但既然我們已蒙上帝認可，受託傳福音，我們說話也不是為了取悅人， 是為了取悅那考驗我們內心的上帝。 

        By itself, knowledge of the gospel --- the power that saves us from our sins by Jesus Christ's death and resurrection --- is powerless.  In fact, many people have heard the gospel but refuse to believe its truth.  It's not until we see the gospel at work in our lives or in the lives of those around us that we realize the power it possesses.                                                                                                                              就其本身而言，福音知識——透過耶穌基督的死和復活，將我們從罪中拯救出來的能力——是無能為力的。 事實上，許多人聽過福音，卻拒絕相信福音的真理。 直到看到福音在我們的生活，或周圍人的生活中發揮作用，才意識到它所擁有的弋力量。

        In Paul's letter to the church in Thessalonica, he wrote openly about the gospel and its potential impact in their lives.  Just like Paul, we also are entrusted to deliver the message of gospel.  Whether with our mouths or through our actions and deeds, we should always be a witness of the power of the gospel.  And here are four points we need to remember about the power of the gospel.                在保羅寫給帖撒羅尼迦教會的信中，他公開談論了福音及其影響他們生活的潛能。 我們也被任命傳遞福音信息，就像保羅一樣。 無論是透過我們的嘴，或是透過行動和事實，我們都應該永遠成為福音大能的見證人。 關於福音的力量，我們需要記住以下四點。

        1.  It's a superior message.  The gospel is more important than anything we've ever hard,                               because the mind of Godis in it.                                                                                                                  福音是優越的好信息。 福音比曾經我們努力過的任何事都更重要，因為上帝的心意在其              中。                                                                                                          

        2.  It's simple message.  We can never fathom all the wisdom God, yet His saving message is                       easy enough for a child to comprehend.                                                                                                    福音是簡單的好信息。 我們永遠無法理解上帝所有的智慧，但祂拯的好信息對小孩子來              都容易理解.  

        3.  It's a sure message.  Anyone from anywhere can be saved when they embrace the gospel.                       福音是確定的好消息, 不管任何地方的任何人，只要接受福音，就可以得救。    

        4.  It's a sufficient message.  The Bible contains an answer for every trial or situation we                               encounter.                                                                                                                                                     福音是夠用的好消息。 聖經對我們所遇到的每一個考驗或難處都有答案。     

        Lord, thank You for the power of the gospel --- that it is superior, simple, sure, and sufficient for    all my needs.                                                                                                                                                          主啊，感謝祢賜下福音的能力──福音是優越的、簡單的、確定的，並且符合我所有的需要 夠用的好消息。
