永恒的天父 ,  我心灵的主宰 , 容我在祢道成肉身的时候 ,  跪下向祢祈祷,  求祢让我更认识祢.  为了祢对我永不止息的爱.  为了祢住在我心中的灵.  为了祢的灵所赐给我的无穷的恩赐.  我要赞美祢, 敬拜祢.                       

道成肉身的主耶稣啊,  求保守我,  在思想上清洁；在言语上信实有节制；在工作上忠实而勤勉；在自省中谦卑；在与人来往的时候,  诚实仁厚；忠实于以往所存的每一个虔敬的念头；不要忘记自己是天父的孩子,  常存永恒的希望.   

 主啊！今天求祢因着我的需要, 随时随地作我的避难所；在黑暗与疑惧当中, 作我的导师；求祢在我遭受一切灵性上的攻击时, 保护我; 当我遭遇试探之时, 作我的力量. 求祢使我的心, 因着满有祢的平安而喜乐.  奉主耶稣基督的名祈祷 . 阿们.

圣诞节是纪念主的道成肉身, 来到世间, 为我这罪人与上帝和好而自愿走上十字架受死.  没有圣诞树,  圣诞老人,  圣诞卡片…..只有主耶稣卑微的降生在马槽里.  故上帝给使徒和初期教会一个重要功课就是谦卑.   因为人人都必需靠上帝的恩典—信靠道成肉身的耶稣为赎我们的罪死在十字架上, 用祂的宝血洗净我们的罪孽, 才能得救. 請認識这位道成肉身的上帝的儿子:

He was born in an obscure village, the child of a peasant woman. He grew up in another village, where He worked in a carpenter shop until He was thirty. Then for three years He was an itinerant preacher.

主耶稣生在不起眼的村庄, 是农村童贞女的孩子.   祂却在另外的村庄长大, 在那里祂以做木匠为生, 直到三十岁.   然后的三年，主耶稣出来在当地巡回传天国的福音。

He never wrote a book.

祂从未写过一本书. 

He never held an office.

祂从来没有办公室.   

He never had a family or a home.

祂从来没有固定居所或家.   

He didn't go to college.

祂没有上过大学.   

He never visited a big city.

祂从来没有到过大城市.   

He never travelled two hundred miles from the place where He was born.

祂从来没有离开祂出生的地方超过两百里.   

He did none of the things that usually accompany greatness.

祂没有做过任何事情通常伴随着 "了不起".   

He had no credentials but Himself.

除了祂自己，祂没有任何可信任的.   

He was only thirty-three when the tide of public opinion turned against Him.

直到祂三十三岁时, 世人才群起而反对祂.   

His friends ran away.

祂的朋友都跑了.   

One of them denied Him.

其中一人还不认祂. 

He was turned over to His enemies and went through the mockery of a trial. He was nailed to a cross between two thieves. While He was dying, His executioners gambled for His garments, the only property He had on earth. When He was dead, He was laid in a borrowed grave through the pity of a friend.

祂被交给祂的敌人, 经历了审判的嘲弄.  祂被钉在两个盗贼之间的十字架上.  正当祂快要断气的时候,  罗马兵丁以赌博的方式取得祂的衣服, 这是祂在地上唯一的财产.   当祂死的时候, 朋友同情祂, 借给祂坟墓得以安葬.

Twenty centuries have come and gone, and today He is the central figure of the human race. All the armies that ever marched,  all the navies that ever sailed,  all the parliaments that ever sat,  all the kings that ever reigned,  put together,  have not effected the life of man on this earth as much as that One Solitary Life.

二十个世纪来了又过去, 今天这位道成肉身的上帝的儿子是世人的中心人物.  凡世上有过的军队, 航行过的海军, 曾经是议员, 统治者, 總合起來, 都不能超过这位孤独的道成肉身的上帝的儿子所对人类的影响.
