古時黃河為患不在中上游, 而是在下游河南開封一帶, 各朝皇帝都在這中原一帶建都, 因為在秦嶺山下是平原.  人煙稠密, 擠滿了人和牲畜.  記得在選讀恩師徐世大教授講授的 "水利工程" 有關洪水災害發生的原因一節時, 他總是苦口婆心的告誡我們, 發生洪水災害最多處所是在 "與水爭地" 的地方.  另外一個原因是該處山嶺樹木被經多年極度採伐, 形成禿頂的山丘.  水土保持能力極度微弱.  並且各朝皇帝建造宮廷, 大興土木, 黃土翻鬆, 暴雨發生, 黃土泥沙全都流入黃河, 成為世界上含泥沙量最大比例的河流.  故補修堤防, 只得年年加高, 因此使下游形成懸河, 河底高於平地達10米之多.  當洪水攻破不堅固堤防後, 便形成極大的恐怖災難, 因為來不及逃避, 人民活活被洪水淹死, 財產因之也一洗而空.  此為黃河自大禹治水成功後, 雖經歷代西漢賈讓建議治水三策, 倡導不與水爭地的遠見; 東漢王景 "朿水攻沙" ;  明朝潘季馴  “分遥堤之用为防溃, 而缕堤之用为束水,为治导河流的法則, 非常合理有效.”  以及清朝靳輔治黃河方法大致採用明朝潘季馴之原則. 其方法可細列四點: 1. 疏浚河道;  2. 修減水堤壩; 3. 堵塞決口; 4. 堅築河堤.  八月十四日的曠野筵席是一盤清淡可口的菜餚.   教導基督信仰的聖徒要注重說話.     絕不可像彼得隨己意說話.     遭致圣父，圣子，圣靈，共同干涉并打斷他的講話.

「彼得還說這話的時候，圣靈降在一切听道的人身上。」（徒10:44）

神常常打斷彼得的話！在變化山上，當他正說話的時候，父神就說話了，「這是我的愛子，我所喜悅的，你們要听祂！」后來回到迦百農的房子里，當他剛替他的主答應要納丁稅，且正要告訴主時，「耶穌先向他說，」為要改正彼得對這事的錯誤觀念。而今在該撒利亞哥尼流家里，當彼得還在講話的時候，圣靈用祂大能的作為，打斷了他的講道，因而他的六個同伴「就都希奇！」所以當他們回到耶路撒冷時，他們支持他的見證，而向教會報導。圣父，圣子，圣靈，曾各自干涉并打斷過彼得的講話。當神自己來截斷我們滔滔不絕的話語時，我們應該歡迎這樣的打岔！

"While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message." (Acts 10:44 NIV)

God interrupted Peter speaking often!   When he was speaking on the Mount of Transfiguration, God the Father interrupted and He spoke, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; listen to him!" Later, when he returned to the house in Capernaum, as he had just replaced His Lord promised to pay the tax, and was about to tell the Lord, "Jesus spoke to him first," in order to correct Peter's misconceptions about the matter. Now in the house of Cornelius in Caesarea, while Peter was still speaking, the Holy Spirit, by a mighty act of His, interrupted his sermon, so that his six companions "were amazed!" So as they came back in Jerusalem, they supported his testimony and reported it to the church. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit each interfered and interrupted Peter's speech. When God Himself interrupts our spouting, we should welcome such interruptions!
