「但記這些事，是叫你們信耶穌是基督，是神的儿子，并且叫你們信了祂，就可以因祂的名得生命。」（約     20:31 新國際版）

有一次我在華南一間學院領會，遇見一位當了心理學教授的老同學，因此，在聚會未開始之前，我先去看看他，并向他說到基督。他很有禮貌的听我講了一會，便含笑的說：「對我講還是毫無用處的，因為我不相信有神。」翌日，當我第一堂聚會完畢后，令我十分惊奇的是，那站起來見證他已經得救的，竟然就是這位教授！事后，我趨前問他：「這是怎么發生的一回事？」他說：「昨天你离去后，我拿起你留給我的那本圣經，触目見到約翰福音第二章所記載的：次日（29節），再次日（35節），又次日（43節）。于是我自己在想，這位作者确實是知道他所說的是什么。他清楚看見了這一切，就如寫日記一樣。我便想，如果真有一位神，那我將怎么辦呢？我如果不信祂，我就是一個愚頑人。你曾告訴我，雖然我對神的存在有怀疑，但也可以向祂祈禱。于是我就跪下祈禱，我不知道我所盼望的是什么，但當我禱告時，我就知道是有一位神。至于我如何知道，我自己也不能解釋，我只是知道就是了！以后，那位親眼見過主的見證人——約翰的話語，便重新進入我的心里。我想既然有一位神，那么救主耶穌就必是祂的儿子——于是我便得救了！」

"But these things are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing in him may have life in his name" (John 20:31 NIV)

Once when I was meeting in a college in South China, I met an old classmate who was a professor of psychology. Therefore, before the meeting started, I went to see him and talked to him about Christ. He listened to me very politely for a while, and then said with a smile, "It's useless to talk to me, because I don't believe in God." The next day, when my first meeting was over, I was very surprised Surprisingly, the one who stood up to testify that he was saved was actually this professor! Afterwards, I went up to him and asked him, "How did this happen?" He said, "After you left yesterday, I picked up the Bible you left me, and I saw what was written in Chapter 2 of John's Gospel. Recorded: the next day (verse 29), the next day (verse 35), and the next day (verse 43). So I thought to myself, this writer really knew what he was talking about. He saw it all clearly.  It’s like keeping a diary. I thought, If there is a God, what will I do? If I don’t believe in Him, I’m a fool. You told me that although I have doubts about God’s existence, You can also pray to him. So I knelt down and prayed, and I didn't know what I was looking for, but when I prayed, I knew there was a God. How I knew, I couldn't explain myself, I just know it! Afterwards, the words of John, the witness who saw the Lord with his own eyes, re-entered my heart. I thought that since there is a God, the Savior Jesus must be His Son—so I saved.
