Holy Father, from whom alone all good proceeds, let the Christian graces of faith                            聖善的父,  萬善從祢而出, 願信望愛这一切屬於基督的恩惠, 一天天在我心裡

hope, and charity be every day more firmly established within me. O God, I believe-                        堅固地建立起來.                                                                   主啊, 我相信

that You rule all things in wisdom and in righteousness.                                                                     祢用智慧與公義統治萬有;

that You have called me to be Your loyal servant:                                                                                 祢召我作你忠實僕人;

that You do rightfully demand of me complete subservience to Your will:                                         祢有权要求我完全服從你的旨意;

that in Jesus Christ You have shown me a way of salvation whereby I may be delivered from       在耶穌基督裡, 祢已指示我得救的途徑, 藉着主耶穌,

my sins:  that if I truly repent, You are willing to pardon and save me.                                               我的罪得蒙赦免;  若我真心悔改, 祢必願意赦免 救我.

O God, I hope----主啊, 我聁望-----

for the continuance of Your daily mercies:   每天祢継續施恩;

for the lessening of sin’s hold upon my will: 那纏繞我心志的罪, 每天得以減少;

for my growth in grace and in true holiness from day to day:                                                             逐日在恩典與聖洁上有進步;

for a more perfect holiness, when earthly days are done:                                                                     等塵世的日子过尽, 将來更有完美的聖善;

for a day when I shall know even as also I am known.                                                                         有一天, 我明白知道, 正如祢知道我一样.

O God,  I love You---主啊, 我愛祢:

who Yourself are love:  因為祢自己就是愛;

who in love did create me and in love do still preserve me:                                                                    祢因為愛的原故, 創造了我, 也因為愛, 現在仍然保守我.

Who did so love me as to send Your Son to suffer and to die that I might live with You:                    祢如此愛我, 差你獨生子來為我受苦, 為我受死, 使我得以與祢同活.;

Who has commanded me to show my love to You by loving my neighbour for Your sake:               祢吩咐我為祢的緣故, 愛我的鄰舍, 以顯明我之愛祢.

Help You mine unbelief, O God, give me greater patience in my hope and make me more                主啊, 求你幫助我的不信, 在指望中, 求祢賜我更大的耐心, 叫我的愛心,

constant in my love.  In loving and in believing and in believing let me love:                                      更加恆切,  在愛心上, 使我更加相信; 在信心上, 使我更有愛心;

and in loving and in believing le me hope for a more perfect love and a more unwavering               在愛心上與信心上, 使我更能指望一个更堅固而不動搖的信

faith, through Jesus Christ my Lord.  Amen.    和一个更完善的愛, 因主耶穌基督. 阿們.

田納西流域的開發得力於羅斯福總統的立法. 是1933年經濟大衰退的影響, 使其成功(包括: 田納西, 肯塔基, 密西西比, 北卡羅林那, 南卡羅林那,  及喬治亞等六州. 下面示河上大埧重疊, 是為了航行方便, 因此, 船閘也是重疊的.  其情況有點像長江上游的水利發電, 但長江上游的重疊大埧, 却不能通航. 希望區域發達後, 人口眾多, 就會有船隻通航的須要.  (註: 請參考中正科技大辭典- 工科---土木分科, 第342頁.)
