348 中翻英 (88)          Are you a man  after God's heart?    您是合上帝心意的人嗎?         3/6/2023

我們親愛的主耶穌基督, 求祢賜孩子能作合主心意的人。 奉耶穌的聖名禱告。  阿們。

四月六日的曠野筵席顯示主的大愛。上帝不但為祂的子民預備豐盛的菜餚，供信徒享用;   祂也預備苦菜使他們領悟主的聖潔。當大衛犯該死的殺人姦淫罪時，從他孩子的死亡，認識那是上帝給他的對付，并且是祂的定規責罰，毫無可斡旋改變的，他就從地上起來，沐浴、抹膏，換了衣裳，進上帝的殿俯伏下來，敬拜祂的旨意。如果遇到這樣的環境，我們能夠如此行么？    因此，大衛雖然犯下重罪，他仍然是一位合上帝心意的人。

「大衛就從地上起來，沐浴、抹膏，換了衣裳，進耶和華的殿敬拜。」（撒下12:20）

大衛犯了罪，導致他儿子的死亡。不錯，他有悔改，但由于他本來是一位善于禱告的人，雖然他為著他儿子的生命懇切的禁食、禱告，而那孩子還是死去了。如果一個靈里不夠謙卑，對神圣的管治置之不理的人，對此可能感覺憤激，向神心怀怨怒。但大衛并沒有這樣。當他听見儿子的死訊時，卻立即起來敬拜。有時候，神為著要表白祂自己的圣洁，不得不將祂的仆人們放進苦難的烈火中。在那時候，最大的試驗，就是他們對神管治之手作如何的反應。當然的，大衛深感痛苦——那是人之常情。但最后當大衛認識那是神給他的對付，并且神的定規是無可斡旋的，他就俯伏下來，敬拜神的旨意。如果遇到這樣的環境，我們能夠如此行么？這件事很明顯的標出：大衛是一位合乎神心意的人。April 6 "So David got up from the ground, bathed, anointed himself, changed his clothes, and went into the house of the LORD to worship." (2 Samuel 12:20)

David sinned.  The death of his son paid the penelty. Yes, he repented, and he was a man of prayer, although he fasted and prayed earnestly, his son still died. If a person is not humble enough in spirit to ignore divine sovereinty, he may feel angry about it and harbor a grudge against God. But David didn't. After hearing his son's death, he arose immediately to worship God.  Sometimes, God wants to vindicate His own holiness, He has to throw His servants into the fire of suffering.  At that time, the greatest test will be shown how their reacting to the ruling hand of God. Of course, David was in a lot of pain - since he is human. But at the end, when David realized that it was God’s dealing with him, and that God’s decision was beyond mediation, he bowed down and obeyed God’s will. Can we act like that, if we are in the same circumstance ? This incident clearly marked that David was a man after God's heart.
