In God's appointed course for you, it may be that today was to have been the greatest day of your life, yet you would let it slip as if it were any other day. The man whose day is like his yesterday lacks a sense of God's timings. 在上帝為你指定的過程中，今天可能是你生命中最偉大的一天，但你卻讓它溜走了，就像其他任何一天一樣。 認今日如昨日的人，缺乏對上帝的時間屬靈的領悟。
四月八日的曠野筵席是要信徒默思與主的關係，就像耶穌與父上帝的關係一樣。耶穌一早起來，就到山上禱告，與天父親近。信徒要領悟上帝的時間，必須在清晨要做的第一件事是默思主的話，與主有親密的交通。
「我為他們的緣故自己分別為圣，叫他們也因真理成圣。」（約 17:19）
當你与主中間有了任何阻隔時，有一件事必然會發生，那就是你只能叫別人在靈性上軟弱下去，你不能使他們高昂起來。要是他們是下沉的，你就使他們下沉更深。要是他們的感覺是抑郁苦悶，你在他們中間便使他們的郁悶益形加重。在神儿女們的交通中，你不能帶進丰富，你無所貢獻，而相反的，你還會削弱其中的屬靈力量。
但如果你和主中間的關系是透亮的，那個光景就与上述的情形相反了。你的出現會成為別人的祝福，帶給疲弱者以新鮮的活力，并灌注生命于圣徒的聚會，把其中的敬拜，禱告和贊美都丰富起來，只要你自己維持著与神那個活潑新鮮的交通，你就能夠給祂使用，使那些似乎已斷絕了与神接触的人，得以恢复過來，并重新活在這個生气勃勃的交通里。

"For their
sakes I sanctify myself, that they also may be sanctified in the truth"
(John 17:19)
When there is any
separation between you and the Lord, one thing is bound to happen, that is, you
can only weaken others spiritually, you cannot lift them up. If they are
sinking, you sink them deeper. If they are feeling depressed, your presence
will make their depression worse. In the fellowship of God's children you do
not bring in abundance, you do not contribute, but on the contrary, you weaken the
spiritual force in it.
But if the
relationship between you and the Lord is transparent, the situation is the
opposite of the above situation. Your presence will be a blessing to others,
bring fresh vitality to the weak, and infuse life into the assembly of the
saints, enriching the worship, prayer and praise in it, as long as you yourself
maintain the liveliness and freshness with God You can be used by Him to
restore those who seem to have lost touch with God, and to live again in this
living fellowship.
