「挪亞因著信，既蒙神指示他未見的事，動了敬畏的心，預備了一只方舟，使他全家得救，因此就定了那世代的罪，自己也承受了那從信而來的義。」（來11:7）
我們不能說「借受浸而重生」，但我們可以說「借受浸而得救。」那就是從宇宙，或稱世界的體系里被救出來。我們是因犯罪而被牽涉在撒但所統治的世界體系里。得救就是從撒但的世界里走出來，而進入神的里面。在主耶穌的十字架里，就我而論，世界已經釘在十字架上，就世界而論，我已經釘在十字架上（加6:14）。彼得寫到那一家八口借水得救的預表，就是指著這個意思。當挪亞和他一切所有的都進入方舟時，他們憑著信心，走出那個敗坏了的舊造的世界，而進入一個嶄新的境界（复活）里。這件事情的要點，不重于他們脫离洪水的淹沒，乃重于他們脫离了那敗坏的體系。這就是得救。當你受浸進入水里時，也表示你的世界和你一同進到水里了。從水里上來時，你已在基督里，但你的世界卻已埋在水里了。

"By faith
Noah, being shown to him things which he had not seen, moved with reverence and
built an ark for the salvation of his family; by this he condemned that
generation, and heir righteousness that comes.” (Hebrews 11:7 NIV)
We cannot say
"regenerated by baptism," but we can say "saved by
baptism." That is, to be saved from the system of the universe, or the
world. We have sinned to be involved in the world system ruled by Satan. To be
saved is to get out of Satan's world and enter into God. In the cross of the
Lord Jesus, the world was crucified to me and I to the world (Galatians 6:14).
This is what Peter meant when he wrote about the type of a family of eight
saved by water. When Noah and everything he owned entered the ark, they walked
out of the corrupted old world by faith and entered into a new realm (resurrection).
The point of this matter is not that they escaped the flood, but that they
escaped the corrupt system. This is salvation. When you are baptized into the
water, it also means that your world has entered into the water with you. When
you came up from the water, you were in Christ, but your world was buried in
the water.
