七月八日的曠野筵席有道可口的菜餚.  親愛的主內訪友, 您疲憊了嗎?  到主那得安息.

「因為那進入安息的，乃是歇了自己的工，正如神歇了祂的工一樣。」       (來  4:10 新國際版）

人的被造，叫他站在一個与神的安息，有著很深意義的關系里。圣經告訴我們，亞當是在第六日被造。很清楚，在神起初的六天，亞當是沒有分的，因為只有六日之工完畢之后他才存在。所以，神的第七日，就成了亞當的第一日。神工作了六日，乃享受祂的安息，而亞當則在安息日開始他的生命和生活。神是先工作后安息。人為要与神和諧一致，必須先進入神的安息，之后他才可以工作。這個原則，是一切基督徒事奉的基礎。尤有進者，因為神第一次的創造實在是完美，所以亞當的生命便能有這個滿意的出發點。福音就是在此：神為著我們這些犯罪的人，已經采取了更進一步的必需步驟，也已經完成了整個救贖的工作，我們無需再做什么去承受這救恩。只要憑著簡單的信心來接受，我們立刻就可以進入祂那已經完成了的工作的安息里。

Man was created to stand in a deeply meaningful relationship with God at rest. The Bible tells us that Adam was created on the sixth day. It is clear that Adam had no part in God's first six days, for he existed only after the work of the six days was completed. Therefore, God's seventh day became Adam's first day. God worked six days and enjoyed His rest, whereas Adam began his life and living on the Sabbath. God works first and then rests. In order to be in harmony with God, man must first enter into God's rest before he can work. This principle is the foundation of all Christian ministry. In particular, because God's first creation was really perfect, so Adam's life can have this satisfactory starting point. Herein lies the gospel: God has taken the further necessary step and completed the whole work of redemption for us sinners, and we need do nothing more to inherit it. Accepted by simple faith, we can immediately enter into the rest of His finished work,
