"What a man sows, he reaps." (Galatians
6:7 NIV)
God's practical dealings with His children are
according to His own unique principles, which are true and exact expressions of
His ways and laws. Have not our sins been forgiven in Christ? From now on, it
is our privilege to be in the hands of God to accept His merciful management in
all aspects. All these laws are ordained by God, so that when we occasionally
stray from the right path, we will be immediately warned to turn back. . The
significance of this incident often shows that what happens to us today is
directly related to our past. In other words, we are reaping what we have sown.
Have we shown favor to others? If so, then grace must be added to us. Have we
ever criticized the actions of others? If so, sooner or later we find ourselves
doing exactly the kind of thing we criticize—we are reaping the consequences of
criticizing others. Because with the measure we use for others, God will
measure us with the same measure. "If you know where your brother is
wrong, you should know where your own is!" That's a principle. God's way
is not harsh, for it is the way of love. He has measured it and given it to us,
so that we may have all possible security. We can escape many unseen dangers by
gladly accepting God's way.
