「除你以外，在天上我有誰呢？除你以外，在地上我也沒有所愛慕的。」（詩73:25）
我們向主的完全奉獻，常常因著一些特別的人事物而轉移，而神就在等候要得著那關鍵性的特別事物，因為祂必須得著我們的一切。我因著一位國家的領袖，在他自傳中所寫的一些話，而大受感動。他說：「我不為自己要求什么，我所有的要求都是為著我的國家。」如果一個人愿意他的國家得著一切，而不為自己留下什么，難道我們不能向神說：「主阿，我不為自己要求什么，我愿意一切都是為著你！我只要你所要的，凡在你旨意之外的，我一概都不要。」除非我們站在奴仆的地位，否則祂就不能站在主人的地位。神不是呼召我們為著祂的事工而獻上自己，祂乃是要求我們無條件的降服在祂的旨意里。

"Whom have I in heaven but you? I have no one on earth but
you." (Psalm 73:25)
Our total devotion to the Lord is often diverted by something special,
and God is waiting to have that crucial special thing, because He must have
everything from us. I was deeply moved by some words written in his
autobiography by a leader of a nation. He said, "I ask nothing for myself.
All I ask is for my country." If a man wants everything for his country
and nothing for himself. We can say to God, " Lord, I don't ask for
anything for myself, I want everything for You! I only want what You want, and
I don't want anything outside of Your will;”can't we? Unless we stand in the position of
slaves, He will not stand in the position of master. God does not call us to
dedicate ourselves to His work, He calls us to surrender unconditionally to His
will.
