六月八日的曠野筵席晨曦默思摸到編輯者的內心.   上帝把孩子推到深谷,   深淵就与深淵響應.    若沒有在深淵的經驗,   我怎知道別人在深淵的苦處,   怎樣去幫助他們.   上帝阿,   祢是無所不知,   無所不在,  無所不能的主.

「祢的瀑布發聲; 深淵就与深淵響應; .......」（詩   42:7   新國際版）

只有深處才能夠回答深處。凡是在淺處的，都不能夠反應深處的。只有那些進入我們深處的經歷，才能夠應付別人深處的需要。如果我們要幫助那些正在經歷洪水的人，我們自己必須先經歷洪水。我們有沒有受神秘密對付的歷史呢？抑或我們所有的，都是眾目所見的呢？我們中間許多人是浮淺的，好像只在外面生長，而沒有內在的積蓄。如果我們只愿意生活在事物的表面上，我們也許能給有需要者一些幫助，但我們所帶給他們的快樂卻會過去。我們不能真正的應付他們實際的需要。保羅有一個保守了十四年的秘密，它那最后的揭露，帶來了何等大的幫助！當我們發覺神在深處向我們說話時，這就是我們擁有了暗中的珍寶，好与在試煉日子中的人同分共享。

"The deep calls to the deep in the roar of your waterfalls; ....." (Psalm 42:7 NIV)

Only the deep can respond the deep. Whatever is at the shallow level cannot respond what is at the deep level. Only those experiences that go into our depths can meet the deep needs of others. If we are going to help those who are going through the suffer of flood disaster, we must first go suffering through the flood disaster ourselves. Do we have a history of being dealt with secretly by God? Or is all we have seen? Many of us are superficial, as if we are only growing outwardly and have no inner accumulation. If we are only willing to live on the surface of things, we may be able to give a few help to those in need, but the joy we bring to them will last not long. We cannot really meet their actual needs. Paul had a secret which he had kept for fourteen years, and what a help it was in its final revelation! When we discover that God is speaking to us from the depths, it is a secret treasure that we possess to share with those in times of trial.
