我們親愛的天父, 祢知道孩子的軟弱, 多次蒙受祢的憐憫, 赦免我犯眼目情慾及今世的驕傲的罪. 如今仍舊常常重犯, 以致無法得到作祢僕人的福份, 供祢差遣使用. 求愛我的上帝再次賜恩, 饒恕我的罪, 容我有份服事祢. 奉主耶穌基督的名禱告. 阿們.
六月六日(星期二)的曠野筵席是一盤苦菜餚. 有誰願意低聲下氣, 順服別人. 如果沒有不斷地學習謙卑, 就不可能有彼此的服事. 編輯者還記得在教會靠主的恩賜, 能有機會在主日學與會友分享馬可福音, 當時自覺很得意, 認為自己為主傳福音適得其所, 却不知適得其反. 多年後一位愛我的長者在遇到我時用愛心指正我說, 你講得很好, 就是缺乏謙卑.
「就是你們眾人，也都要以謙卑束腰，彼此順服。」（彼前5:5）
基督的身體是在愛中建立起來的，這并非有一班稱為使徒的特殊工人站在基督之外，把身體看作一件事物而企圖從外面將它建造起來。我們常有一种傾向危險的想法，把我們所服事的教會，看作自身以外的一件東西。這是不可能的。如果我們要在身體的生活中有所擺上，我們必須在其中謙卑地站在順服的地位，在肢體彼此服事的生活里面，學習接受，也學習供應。我們是否發覺自己向神謙卑，比向信徒們謙卑更容易呢？請記得：如果沒有不斷地學習謙卑，就不可能有彼此的服事。因為無論是好是坏，我們總是身體上的肢體，這是我們無法放棄的。我們若得罪了人，也就是得罪了神。每一位圣徒，都得從弟兄們身上接受幫助。惟有這樣，我們才能幫助別人。我們服事別人，這樣就得到別人的服事。我們是与神同工的，也是神所建造的房屋。

"Gird
yourself up with humility, all of you, and be submissive to one another."
(1 Peter 5:5)
The
Body of Christ is built up in love. It is not a special group of workers called
the apostles who stand outside of Christ and look at the Body as a thing and
try to build it up from the outside. We often have a dangerous tendency to
think of the church we serve as something other than ourselves. it's out of the
question. If we want to offer something in the life of the Body, we must humbly
stand in a position of submission in it, and learn to receive as well as to
supply in the life of members serving each other. Do we find it easier to humble
ourselves to God than to believers? Remember: There can be no mutual service
without constant learning of humility. Because for better or for worse, we are
always members of the body, and that is something we cannot give up. If we
offend man, we have offended God. Every saint has to receive help from his
brethren. Only in this way can we help others. When we serve others, we are
served by others. We are co-workers with God and a house built by God.
