「王女在宮里，極其榮華，她的衣服是用金線繡的。」（詩   45:13 新國際版）

新婦要穿上那苦心精制的線繡結婚禮服，被帶到王的面前。有一件外衣是不需精制，是立時可得的恩賜，那就是公義的外袍。但新婦的服裝不僅是金的（金指一切都出乎神），并且是用「金線繡的」，意即必須很有耐心的將金線繡進衣料的編織里去。這豈不是在向我們指示，圣靈正在繼續不斷的，將各各他十字架的實際果效，織進她（新婦）的經歷里去，好叫基督的榮美，能夠從她身上顯示出來么？在此，她必須甘心樂意的与圣靈同工合作，「就如新婦妝飾整齊，等候丈夫。」（啟21:2）

什么叫做繡呢？意思就是本來是空白的，沒有東西的，后來用線把東西繡上，繡好之后，繡上去的東西和本來的東西就成為一個了。這就是說，神的靈做工在我們身上，把基督組織在我們身上，這一個是繡的。繡不是一次的，乃是一針一線繡出來的。圣靈所繡的衣服，就是把基督組織在我們里面，要從我們身上彰顯基督。

"The king's daughter was in great splendor in her palace; her clothes were embroidered with gold." (Psalm 45:13 NIV)

The bride will put on the wedding dress that is painstakingly embroidered with thread and be brought before the king. There is a garment that does not require refinement but is a gift that is available immediately, and that is the garment of righteousness. But the bride's clothing is not only made of gold (gold means everything is from God), but also "embroidered with gold thread," which means that the gold thread must be embroidered into the weave of the clothing very patiently. Doesn’t this indicate to us that the Holy Spirit is continuing to weave the practical effects of the cross of Calvary into her (the bride’s) experience so that the beauty of Christ can be revealed from her? Here, she must willingly cooperate with the Holy Spirit, "like a bride adorned for her husband." (Revelation 21:2)

What is embroidery? It means that it was originally blank, without anything, and then something was embroidered with thread. After the embroidery was completed, the embroidered thing and the original thing became one. This means that God’s Spirit works in us and organizes Christ into us. This is embroidery. Embroidery is not done once, but done stitch by stitch. The garment embroidered by the Holy Spirit is to organize Christ into us and to express Christ through us.
