「主耶和華以色列的圣者曾如此說，你們得救在乎歸回安息，你們得力在乎平靜安穩。」（賽  30:15 新國際版 ）

在每一個旋風里面，都有一個中心。雖然外面的風旋轉得很快，但是在中心那一點是非常平靜的。這一种中心穩定的生活，就是我們的力量。外面的事情好像狂風亂吹，但是在我們的里面是最安靜的。「你們得力在乎平靜安穩。」你千万不要因為外面的事情一多，你的思想就亂了，你就失去安靜了，如果這樣，你就沒有方法支配你的環境。你看海，在它的表面不知道有多大的變動，浪可以打得很高，風可以吹得很大，但是海的深處一點都不動，平靜得很。我們基督徒的生活，就是要有里面的平靜安穩。我們不能盼望事情不忙，但卻能盼望在事情百忙之中，在我們的里面仍然是十分安靜的.

"Thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, In your return and rest you will be saved; in quietness and stability will be your strength." (Isaiah 30:15 NIV)

There is a center inside every whirlwind.  Although the wind outside was spinning very fast, it was very calm at the storm center. This kind of the centrally stable life is our strength.  Things outside seem to be blowing violently, but inside our heart is very peace and stable. "Your strength lies in peace and stability." Don't let your thoughts get confused and lose your tranquility,  because there are too many storms going on outside. If so, you won't be able to control your circumstance.  Look at the sea, there are huge waves on the  surface of the sea.  The waves can hit very high and the wind can blow very hard. But at deep point down in the sea, it doesn’t move at all.  But it is very calm. Our Christian life is to have inner peace and stability. We cannot hope that things will not be lesser and lesser, but we can hope that even though things are much, and pray for the very stable inside with God's blessing --- strength.
