十一月十三日的曠野筵席闡釋大衛為什麼在犯了重罪時, 仍稱為合乎上帝心意的人. 因他在禱告時, 不僅求他外面的話語能蒙上帝悅納，也求上帝悅納在他心里面的意念. 這是多令人心服的順命上帝旨意的榜樣的人, 也就是肯讓上帝摸著他的心的人. 親愛的的訪友, 我們做事為人都肯讓上帝摸我們的心嗎?
「耶和華我的磐石，我的救贖主阿，愿我口中的言語，心里的意念，在你面前蒙悅納。」（詩 19:14 新國際版）
大衛的禱告是先說到口中的言語，然后說到心里的意念，他不光是求他外面的話語能蒙神悅納，他也是求他里面的意念能蒙神悅納。口里的言語乃是心里意念的發表，心才是根本的問題。外面的話語對与不對，還不是根本的問題，外面說話的態度對与不對，也還不是根本的問題，根本的問題乃是心里的意念到底是怎樣。心里的意念是根本的問題，心里的意念是不可忽略的問題。所以大衛的禱告不光是說：神啊，愿我口中的言語在你面前蒙悅納，他還得說：愿我心里的意念也能在你面前蒙悅納。大衛的禱告是愿意心里的意念在神面前蒙悅納，所以后來保羅就見證說，大衛是合乎神心意的人。怎樣的人才是合乎神心意的人呢？就是肯讓神摸著他的心的人。

the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart be accepted in your sight, O
Lord my rock and my redeemer.” (Psalm 19:14 NIV)
David's prayer addressed first the words of his mouth, then the thoughts in his heart. He didn't only prayed that his outward words would be acceptable to God, but also the prayed of his inner thoughts. The words of the mouth are the expression of the thoughts in the heart. The fundamental problem is the thoughts in the heart. Whether the speaking outward words are right or wrong is not the fundamental issue, nor is the outward speaking attitude right or wrong. But the fundamental issue is what the inner thoughts are. The thoughts in the heart are the fundamental issue, and the thoughts in the heart are issues that cannot be ignored. Therefore, David’s prayer was not only to say: O God, may the words from my mouth be accepted before You, but he also had to say, "May the thoughts of my heart be accepted before You." David’s prayer was that his inner thoughts would be accepted before God, so Paul later testified that David was a man after God’s own heart. What kind of person is he after God’s heart? He is a person who is willing to let God touch his heart.
