Feb. 14.     Holding Fast to the Faithful Word.  Bible reading : Psalm 119:41-48 Key verse : John 17:17  2 月 14 日  堅守上帝信實的話語.                    讀經：詩篇 119:41-48.               鑰節: 約翰福音 17:17

            Sanctify them by Your truth.  Your Word is truth.                                                                                        用祢的真理使他們成聖.  祢的話就是真理.

        Think for a moment about how many books, magazines, newspapars, and other materials you have read in the last year.  What we read and see is not the sort of materials that gives meaning and purpose to our existence.                                                                                                                                                    想想去年你閱讀過多少書籍, 報章雜誌, 和其他資料.  凡讀到和看到的並不是那種賦予我們生存的意義和目的.                                                                                           

        For that, we must always trun to the Bible, which is the recelation of God to man concerning His unchanging plan for mankind .  God's Word is the foundation upon which you and I can establish an enduring life.                                                                                                                                                          為此, 我們必須自始至終求助於《聖經》, 聖經是上帝向人類揭示有關於祂對人類不變的計劃.  上帝的話才是我們藉以建立恆久生命的惟一基礎.

        "For whatever things were written before were written for our learning instruction, that we through the patience and confort of the Scriptures might have hope" (Rom. 15:4).  The Holy Scriptures unfold the plan of salvation, unveil the Lord's plan for abundant living, and share what life after death will be like.                                                                                                                                                                      「從前所寫的都是為教訓我們寫的, 叫我們藉著聖經的忍耐和安慰, 可以得著盼望」（羅馬書 15:4）.  聖經揭示了救恩的計劃, 揭示了主對豐盛生活的計劃, 並分享了死後的生活會是什麼樣子.

        The Word of God is faithful : "Your Word is truth" ( John 17:17).  You can count on its truth and power to deal with every aspect of life.                                                                                                                上帝的話是信實的：「你的話就是真理」（約翰福音 17:17）。 您可以依靠祂的真理和能力來處理生活的各個方面事件.

         God's Word will never lead you astry because the God who cannot lie is its Author and Guarantor: "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, or correcttion, for instruction in righeousness, that the man of God may be comlete, thoroughly equipped for every good work" ( 2 Tim, 3:16-17).                                                                                                                               上帝的話永遠不會讓你誤入歧途, 因為那位不會說謊的上帝是聖經的作者和擔保人："聖經都是上帝所默示的, 於教訓, 督責, 使人歸正, 教導人學義, 都是有益的.  叫屬上帝的人得以完全, 預備行各樣的善事"（提摩太後書 3:16-17 新國際版）.

             Equip me for every good work, O Lord, as I build my life on Your unchanging Word.                              主啊，求祢將我的生活建立在祢不變的話語上, 好讓我能被裝備去做任何的善事.
