十月九日的曠野筵席啟示信徒, 耶穌基督是稅吏和罪人的朋友. 沒有什麼能阻隔我們與祂在一起.                                             

「 ...... 是稅吏和罪人的朋友。」（路   7:34 新國際版）

自從我認識救主是罪人的朋友以來，我看見過許多很特別和相當困難的人，悔改歸向了祂。我記得有一次，一位年青婦人前來攻擊我，她說她不愿意得救，又說她還年青，要享受一些快樂的日子。她不愿离開罪惡的道路，也沒有一點儿渴望救恩的心。當她用近乎辱罵之言向我咆哮一番之后，我說：「我們禱告好嗎？」她很鄙視的回答：「我要禱什么撈什子的告？」我說：「你禱告什么我不能負責，但我可以先禱告，然后你將剛才向我所說的那些話，再告訴主耶穌一遍。」她稍感惊駭說：「啊，我不能夠這樣做！」我回答說：「是的，你能夠這樣做，你豈不知道主耶穌是罪人的朋友么？」這一句話感動了她。她果然禱告了，雖是一個很不正規的禱告，但從那時候起，主耶穌就開始在她心里工作，再過几天，她就很光榮的得救了。

Since I have known the Savior as a friend of sinners, I have seen many extraordinary and difficult people repent and turn to Him.  Once,  I remember a young woman who came to attack me. She said that she did not want to be saved, and that she was still young and wanted to enjoy some happy days. She was unwilling to leave her sinful ways, and she had no desire for salvation. After she yelled at me with almost abusive words, I said, "Shall we pray?" She replied disdainfully: "What am I going to pray for?" I said, "What are you praying for?" I cannot be responsible, but I can pray first, and then you can tell the Lord Jesus what you just said to me." She was a little frightened and said, "Ah, I can't do this!" I replied, "Yes. Yes, you can do this, don’t you know that the Lord Jesus is the friend of sinners?” This sentence touched her. Sure enough, she prayed. Although it was a very informal prayer, from that moment on, the Lord Jesus began to work in her heart. In a few days, she was gloriously saved.
