十月二日晨曦默思是有關基督信仰人的根基. 親愛的訪友, 你遇到過這樣的境遇嗎? 當你遇到被提呼召時, 你會回家拿你心愛的東西嗎? 你愛世界比愛主耶穌更甚嗎?
「你們要回想羅得的妻子。凡想要保全生命的，必喪掉生命，凡喪掉生命的，必救活生命。」（路 17:32-33 新國際版）
如果我沒有弄錯，這是新約圣經里一段敘述我們對被提呼召的反應。在那時刻，我們將要發現我們心里的真實財寶是放在哪里。如果主耶穌自己是我們的至寶，那我們必不用回頭向后看。哦！多少時候，我們愛慕神的恩賜，過于愛慕那賜恩者。讓我再說一句，我們甚至會愛慕神的工作，過于愛慕神自己。但「當那日，人在房上，器具在屋里，不要下來拿; ......」（路 17:31）舉例來說，我正在忙著寫一本書，我已完成八章了，并開始為著余下的九章，在神面前心血交加的要去圓滿的卸釋這個負擔，而假定就在這時，被提的呼召忽臨，并有聲音說：「你上來」，但我的反應卻是：「那我寫的書怎么辦呢？」這樣一來，我好像是在「屋頂上」而卻下去關心我所寫的那本書——這項似乎是寶貴的工作，就好比一個釘著的木椿，把我牢系在地上了。這豈不是一個可怕的可能嗎？對于這個問題重要的關鍵乃是：到底我的心在哪里呢？

"Remember
Lot's wife! Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his
life will preserve it." (Luke 17:32-33 NIV)
If I were right, this is a passage in the New Testament describing our response to the
call of the raptured. In that moment, we will discover where the true treasures
of our hearts are. If the Lord Jesus Himself is our supreme treasure, then we
will not need to look back. Oh! how often do we love God’s gifts more than the
One who gives them. Let me say it again, we may even love the work of God more
than loving Himself. But "On that day no one who is on the roof of his house, with his goods inside, should go down to get them. ....." (Luke 17:31) For example,
I am busy writing a book. I have finished eight chapters and have begun to
write a book. In the remaining nine chapters, I worked hard in front of God to
completely release this burden. Suppose at this moment, the calling of the rapture suddenly came, and a voice said: "You come up", but my
reaction was: "What about the book I wrote?" In that manner, I
seemed to be "on the roof" , but went down to care about the book I
wrote - this seemed to be a precious job, just like the nailed wooden posts
tied me firmly to the ground. Isn't this a terrifying possibility? The
important key to this question is: Where is my heart?
