我們在天上的阿巴父親,    謝謝祢賜孩子耐性,   及感恩的心.   這兩樣都是祢使孩子活到94歲的原因.    孩子要讚美祢的大恩.    禱告奉耶穌的聖名.   阿們.

「祭司的嘴里，當存知識，人也當由他口中尋求律法，因為他是万軍之耶和華的使者。」（瑪   2:7 新國際版）

很可能有許多所謂的复興，是建立在錯誤的基礎上。雖然有屬靈恩賜的表現，卻沒有基督的供應和事奉。這好像有了許多飲食的餐具，可是沒有食物給它們襯托出來。沒有基督的所謂复興，比這更不如了，因為缺了基督，恩賜不只是虛空的，并且還可能是騙人的；至少其中有些恩賜是出于假冒基督的職事。神子民最切實的需要，不是我們在講道、禱告、或其它种种式式的活動上所表現的恩賜，而是我們個人對基督的認識，至于恩賜，不過是傳遞這個認識的媒介。在一間醫院里，兩個護士可能使用兩把完全相似的湯匙，但至關重要的不是湯匙，而是她們放在湯匙內所給病人的東西。她們之中的一位可能放一些有治療功效的珍貴藥品，而另一位則可能只放一些鎮靜劑。必須記得：真算得數的，乃在乎我們所供應的是什么東西。

“For the lips of the priest ought to preserve knowledge, and from his mouth men should seek instruction --- because he is the messenger of the Lord of almighty.” (Malachi 2:7 NIV) 

It is possible that many so-called revivals are based on a false foundation. Although there are manifestations of spiritual gifts, but there is no supply and service of Christ. It seems that there are many eating utensils, but there is no food to set them off. The so-called revival without Christ is worse than this, because without Christ, the gifts are not only empty, but may also be deceptive; at least some of them come from the counterfeit ministry of Christ. The most practical need of God's people is not the gifts we express in preaching, praying, or other various activities, but our personal knowledge of Christ. As for gifts, they are only the medium through which this knowledge is conveyed. In a hospital, two nurses maybe use two identical spoons, but it doesn't the spoon that matters, but what realy matters is what inside the spoon whhich will give to the patient. One of them might put some precious healing medicine, and the other just some sedate medicine. We must remember:  It depends on what we supply. It is what really counted.
