五月九日的晨曦默思，使編輯者深深領悟上帝的心意。祂要孩子深思熟慮祂話語的能力。在舊約裡的六位女士，使孩子查了舊約聖經半小時才完全知道她們為什麼都象征教會。今寫出與主內的訪友分享如下:

將自己獻給新郎（利百加 'Rebekah'), 是以撒的妻子.  以撒在猶太人的心目中是基督, 利百加象征教會.

從外邦人中被揀選出來（亞西納 'Asenath'), 是約瑟的妻子. 約瑟有基督的樣式, 亞西納象征教會.

經過曠野（西坡拉 'Ziporah' ), 是摩西的妻子.  摩西有基督的形象, 西坡拉象征教會.

承受產業（押撒 'Adsa'), 是迦勒(80歲仍要承受他的產業)的女兒, 是俄陀聶的妻子. 押撒象征教會.

全然依賴那救贖她的親屬（路得 'Ruth' ), 是波阿斯的妻子. 是基督的先祖. 路得象征教會.

為她的主爭戰（亞比該 'Abigail' ) 是拿八的妻子.  亞比該餵養主的僕人, 她象征教會.

「耶穌並且說，"因此人要离開父母，与妻子連合，二人成為一體。......」                                           ( 太 19:5 新國際版）夏娃是絕無僅有的一位，她是絕對為著亞當而造的。在舊約里，被認為象征教會的一些女人中，夏娃是獨特的一位。在其他的女人身上，她們每一位都描述了教會蒙救贖的某些方面，諸如：我們看見她如何將自己獻給新郎（利百加），從外邦人中被揀選出來（亞西納），經過曠野（西坡拉），承受美地的產業（押撒），全然依賴那救贖她的親屬（路得），為她的主爭戰（亞比該）等。然而上述那些女人中，仍沒有一個像夏娃那樣，包涵了這么多的教訓，因為她們全部都是在人類墮落以后而產生的。但夏娃卻是在罪惡未進入世界以前，那有福的時期中被造的。這給我們看見，神如何完成了使教會和祂儿子聯結的所有心愿。夏娃首先是從亞當出來的，然后再被帶回歸給亞當，作為他的配偶。從一而成為二，再從二又成為一，這是教會的奧秘。在她（教會）身上，一切從基督而來的，都得再一次被帶回到基督里去。May 9"For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother.  He shall be with his wife, and the two shall be joined to one flesh." (Matthew 19:5)Eve was unique.  She was absolutely created for Adam.  Among the other women who were considered to symbolize the Church in the Old Testament, Eve was a very special aspect one. In the other women, each of them described some aspect of the Church's redemption, such as: we see how she consecrated herself to the Bridegroom (Rebekah), was chosen from the Gentiles (Asenath), Going through the wilderness (Ziporah), inheriting the good land (Adsa), fully relying on the relative who redeemed her (Ruth), fighting for her Lord (Abigail), etc. However, none of the above-mentioned women contained as many lessons as Eve, because all of them were produced after the fall of mankind. But Eve was created in that blessed time, before sin entered the world. This shows us how God has fulfilled all his desires to unite the church to his Son. Eve first came out of Adam and was brought back to Adam as his consort. From one to two, and from two to one, this is the mystery of the church. In her (the Church) everything that comes from Christ has to be brought back to Christ again.
