十月一日晨曦默思實在是上帝子民禱告的樣式.     亞伯拉罕為所多瑪罪人審判的代求禱告是根据上帝的品性.   上帝是公義的,  亞伯拉罕知道必須適可而止.

「上帝記念亞伯拉罕 ....... 就打發羅得從傾覆之中出來。」（創   19:29 新國際版）

當亞伯拉罕一知道神將要在所多瑪城施行審判時，他便開始禱告了。我們可以從他的禱告，得著許多教益。他不是僅僅求神寬容所多瑪城。他的代求是根据神的品性。他緊緊抓牢神是公義之神這件事實，這就是他禱告得力的秘訣。他在深切的謙卑和懇切的代求中，接二連三的將問題呈獻到神面前。他的問題就是代表他的要求，而這些要求都是根据于神的公義。在他末次要求之后，經上是如此記載：「耶和華說完了話，就走了。」有些人以為亞伯拉罕應該繼續祈求下去，但他是一個認識神的人，同時，他也是認識禱告秘訣的人，他的代禱所以能搭救他的親屬，是因為他代禱的根据是正确的。當神將所多瑪、俄摩拉二城傾覆時，祂「搭救了義人羅得」。                  （彼后2:7）

" ..... He remembered Abraham, and He brought Lot out of his overthrew ....."        (Genesis 19:29 NIV)

As soon as Abraham knew that God was about to execute His judgment on the city of Sodom, he began to pray. We can learn from his prayers a lot. He didn't just ask God only to forgive Sodom. His intercession is depended on the character of God. He held this principle tightly to the fact that God was righteousness that was the secret why his prayer was powerful. In deep humility and earnest intercession, he presented question after question before God. His questions represent his demands, and these demands are based on God's righteousness. After his last request, the Bible recorded this: "When the Lord had finished speaking, he went away." Some people think that Abraham should continue to pray, but he was a godly man who knew Him, and also knew the secret of prayer.  Why his intercession can save his relatives is because the basis of his intercession is correct. When God overthrew the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, He "delivered the righteous Lot." (2 Peter 2:7)
