"Give and it will be given to you" (Luke 6:35)

A servant of the Lord should learn to give as well as receive. I remember one time, I decided to take a boat to go to a place in the upper reaches of the Minjiang River to preach on Friday. At that time, I only had fifteen yuan on hand, and I had to look to God for the travel expenses. I kept praying, but the money still didn't come. I prayed again on Friday morning, but not only did the money not come, but the inside thought that I should give five yuan to a co-worker. I remembered that the Lord once said, "If you give, it will be given to you." I have never been a person who loves money, but that day I really cherished money and found it difficult to give it away. I prayed again, "Lord, if You really want me to give five dollars, I will." But I was not willing inside. It was the first time in my life that I shed tears over money. In the end, I obeyed God and gave the five dollars to that co-worker. After giving the money, I was filled with heavenly joy.

I'm going to leave on Friday night. I said to God, "Fifteen dollars is not enough, but you asked me to give five dollars, wouldn't it be even more insufficient?" At that time, I really didn't know how to pray. I decided to take a small steamer to Shuikou first, and then take a small wooden boat to Jian'ou. My journey to Shuikou cost very little money. When the little steamer was about to come, I thought I should not pray as I wished, and that the result would be better if I did not. So I said to the Lord, "I don't know how to pray now, please do it for me." I also said, "If you don't give me money, please prepare a cheap boat." When I arrived at the mouth of the water, many The boatmen came to do business, and one of them only cost seven yuan, which was much less than I expected, because it was several times as much as the rule. I asked the boatman why he needed so little, and he said, "This boat has already been chartered by a person from the county government. I can give up the back cabin to take another guest, so I don't care how much the boat costs, but you have to prepare your own food. "I originally had fifteen yuan, but after I gave five yuan to the co-workers, a few cents for the small steamboat ride, seven yuan for the small wooden boat, and more than one yuan for the meal, I still had one yuan and three yuan in Jian'ou . Thank the Lord, praise the Lord, for His arrangements are always good.
