(109) Lord ! help me to follow Jesus. 5/7/2023

(109)   Lord ! help me to follow Jesus.

May 7"Joseph brought Jacob his father before Pharaoh, and Jacob blessed Pharaoh."   (Genesis 47:7 NIY)

We know  Jacob blessed Pharaoh twice. How dare a lame old refugee bless the greatest king in the world at that time? For Jacob, such an unprecedented initiative was an old ambition, but now, everything is a thing of the past, and in his eyes, he himself is now useless.     However, God was with him. Before he entered Egypt, he knew this fact clearly. The much greater Abraham went to Egypt and sinned. Therefore, even though Jacob's own son Joseph was waiting for him in Egypt, he still stopped at Beer-sheba to offer sacrifices to his father's God, so that he could leave the decision to go to Egypt in God's hands. Then comes God's repeated promise: "I will go down with you to Egypt" (Genesis 46:4). So he came to Egypt, and now he was a broken man, his old power to bless himself was dusted, but he was full of spiritual power to bless a king.

(108) English grammar is esenntial for learning English. 5/6/2023

(108)      English grammar is esenntial for learning English.

主阿,我感謝你這奇妙的恩賜!」May 6th    "If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ." (Romans 8:9)God gave you the gift of the Holy Spirit on the basis of the fact that His Son was exalted to heaven, and that is the only basis. Now that the Lord Jesus has been glorified, but you believers have not yet received the Holy Spirit, is it possible? Some Christians, however, are still confused about this matter. I knew a young man in Shanghai. After he heard and knew about the glorified Christ and His outpouring of the Holy Spirit, he ran home and began to pray earnestly, saying, "Lord, I believe, I need The power of your Holy Spirit, Lord, you are glorified, pour out your Holy Spirit on me now!" Pausing after him, correcting his prayer, "Oh, Lord, no! That's all wrong He prayed again, "Lord Jesus, you and I are united in life, and Abba Father has promised us two things: You have been glorified, and I have the Holy Spirit. You have been glorified , If I hadn't received the Holy Spirit, it would be unthinkable! Lord, I thank You for this wonderful gift!"

"Because of the blood of Jesus, brethren, we have boldness to enter the holy of holies .... to approach God" (Hebrews 10:19-22 NIV)

My    first time came to meet God  by  depending the Christ's blood, and to keeping continue this new relationship,  I have  still through His blood each time.    Since  by this foundation that I am saved, also through it that my fellowship with Him is maintained. You will say, "That's too simple,  and it is just the beginning of the Gospel." Yes, it is, but the problem  is that if we don't use  this simple  approch,   for many of us    may think that they have self-rightously  automatically  growing spiritual. That means no needing  of His  blood, however, that is absolutely impossible.  Because the only way come to meet Him by depending His blood only. If there is another possibility of the effectiveness  way  without though  His precious blood, the foundation of our approach to God will not be so reliable. But His blood has never changed and will never change! God is satisfied whenever He sees the blood. Therefore, we approach to Him with boldness   by   His blood.

(106) Happy are you if you know this and do it." 5/4/2023

(106)   Happy are you if you know this and do it."

"Happy are you if you know this and do it." (John 13:17)

I know an elderly sister in Japan. Once a thief broke into her house to harass her. She found that the thief was very hungry, so she prepared meals for the unexpected guest with her simple and practical faith in the Lord. After he finished eating, she handed him her key again. The thief was ashamed of what she had done, and at that moment God spoke to him through it. Because of the old sister's testimony, the thief is a brother in Christ today.

Many Christians have their heads full of doctrine, but their lives are very different from it. For example, although they know what Ephesians 1-3 says, they ignore the practical commands of 4-6, such as renunciation of lies, submission to one another, kindness, forgiveness, honoring parents, loving wives, listening to From the master, forbearance, mercy, watchful prayer, etc. If your life is contrary to what you have been taught, it is worse than if you have not been taught. Has God given you some commands? If so, you should throw yourself upon him, and ask him to help you rise up and do his commandments.

(105) The harlot of Babylon contains all evil 's spirits of pretense and hypocrisy! 03/05/2023

(105)  The   harlot of   Babylon contains all evil 's spirits of pretense and hypocrisy!

May 3rd

"After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great  multitude in heaven shouting:  Hallelujah! Salvation, and glory and power belong to our God" (Revelation 19:1 NIV).

This repeatedly  shouting of  "Great" city falling to cause the first "Hallelujah!" in Revelation. Why is there such joy in heaven over the destruction of Babylon? This is because Babylon contains all the devil 's spirits of pretense and hypocrisy! The first recorded sin of the Israelites entering Canaan was stealing a Babylonian garment. Achan covets the splendid style of Babylon, he desires beauty,  that is   pretense  . The first sin of the early New Testament church is recorde similar to this. Ananias and his wife, Sapphira, put on a "self-sacrificing appearance" that exceeded their reality for the sake of respect, that is   hypocrisy. Like Achan, they also wanted appearances,   i.e.   pretense . In the church today, it is also not difficult to see God's children through certain actions, hoping to make a good impression on others and establish a prestigious and commendable position for themselves. This is the   harlot of Babylon's   principles  of   pretense and hypocrisy ,   which are the abominations to God.

(104) Have Mercy on me, Lord! 5/2/2023

(104)                Have Mercy on me, Lord!

May 2

"So he had   the ark of the Lord   carried   arounded the city, ....." (Joshua 6:11  NIV)

The ark is mentioned alone in this passage.    The author seems to ignore the fact how all the people of Israel walked around the city of Jericho in faith. For all the great keys lie in the ark. This strong fortress  --- the city of Jericho, was by no means destroyed simply because the Israelites circumvented it. As we all know, we can surround our own city of Jericho a thousand times and get nowhere. The strength of the people of Israel was due to the glorious fact that the ark was among them. The ark always carried among them the evidence of God's faithfulness. They faced the enemy not by their immediate efforts, but by what God had done for them. The ark that is with us today is His resurrected Son, Jesus Christ. We're going to be centered on Him, to go out and proclaim His resurrection, and God will  be going to break down those walls.

(103) God's faithful guidance is the way we must follow. 5/1/2023

(103)        God's faithful guidance is the way we must follow.

May 1st

"Nevertheless,  in their presumption they  went up toward  the high hill country, though neither  Moses nor  the   ark of the LORD's  covenant  moved from  the camp.   Then    the Amalekites and the Canaanites  who lived in that hill country came down and struck them, and drove them back ....."                            (Numbers 14:44-45 NIV)

When the Israelites heard the news reported by the ten spies at Kadesh in the Wilderness of Paran, they rebelled against the Lord and refused to enter Canaan. Thereafter, God condemned their election, and they rebelled again, insisting on going on in their own strength. It was their mortal wound that they ignored Moses, or the ark which had always preceded them in their journey.   They   were   not only  completely defeated by the enemy, but also there was no history of the Ark of the Covenant   for thirty-eight years after this  battle . Oh! It was what a terrible thing!   As we stiffen our necks and go our own way, we have no testimony of God's faithful guidance.  Since  we insisted walked on our own way, we had forfeited the wonderful privilege of being led by God.
