爱我们的天父,  谢谢祢赐孩子恩典, 在十二岁时, 让我见到祢赐中国人的伟大水利灌溉工程 --- 都江堰, 使我真知道祢的存在.  在二千年后, 小日本侵略杀害我国人民, 我们快到灭亡时, 靠祢赐下的都江堰灌溉大地. 使栽种得到丰收的粮食, 得以支持到最后打败小日本而能存活.  我们要见证祢道成肉身的来到世上, 为拯软弱的罪人, 自己走上十字架受死.  我们深信祢坐在宝座上为王, 维持祢的公义. 求赐孩子能力, 见证耶稣基督是祢的独生儿子, 祂要再来世上建立祂的王国, 使我们与祂共享天国的荣耀.  奉耶稣的名祷告.  阿门.

翻译不是如前所发表的博客所说, 初中学生知道英文句子的意思就能翻成中文. 要做好翻译必须英文要到大学的程度, 而母语要能熟悉运用自如.

            例如:

                        The movie interests me.               看电影是我的嗜好.
　　　　        I'm interested in the movie.          我喜欢看电影.    
　　　　        The movie is interesting to me.    这部影片使我高兴.

 [注] : 这三句英文, 粗看似乎没有什么大的分别. 仔细的捉摸, 你会发现有很大的意思差别. 因其语法的结构迥然不同, 非有大学程度的英语学识, 是不容易分别清楚. 第一句是正常的说法.  第二句是被动的语气. 最后一句却是现在分词 (present participle), 又称动名词配合无限式 (infinitive)的应用.

编辑者所深爱的魏士比.华仁(Warren  Wiersbe)牧师所编着的约翰福音解经书上下两册, 甚为我所喜好, 因为文字简洁优美, 读起来非常享受.  今将首册中英文一并录下, 供访客分享.

During the months that I have been studying the Gospel of John and writing this book, I have felt like a man standing on holy ground. The more I studied and wrote, the more inadequate I felt. No wonder the great Greek scholar Dr. A.T. Robertson called the Gospel of John "the profoundest book in the world."

来得生命：更能清淅的认知活着的耶稣基督救主.

       在我研读约翰福音, 同时写作解经书的数月之中, 觉得自己像是站在圣地的人. (注: 这是复杂句, 包括两个附属子句 ‘During the months that I have been studying the Gospel of John,  and during the months that I have been writing this book,’ 及一个独立子句 ‘I have felt like a man standing on holy ground.’ 要了解该长句, 必须先去找独立子句的动词 ‘have felt’.) 当我愈想学习和写作时,  就愈感到自己的不配. (注: 这是合句, 由两独立子句所组成, ‘The more I studied and wrote’ 和 ‘The more inadequate I felt.’ 以逗点来分开) .  难怪伟大的希腊学者罗伯逊博士 (A.T. Robertson) 要称约翰福音为 “世界上最深奥的书” (注: 这是简单句).

[注] : 蓝色句子是翻译句子.  其它句子请自己去猜摸.

There is not space in these studies to plumb the depths, but I have tried to present the basic teachings of this marvelous book. The Gospel of John is simple enough for a child to wade in, but deep enough for the scholar and the most season saint to swim in.

     This is the first of two volumes devoted to the Gospel of John. The second one, focusing on chapters 13-21, will follow.

在研读后, 我无法来探索这本奇妙的福音书的基本教导的深度, 却发现约翰福音是本人人可读的福音书卷. 它简单浅显得可让小孩在其内嬉水, 但其深奥博大得却让学者和有名望的贤能者可在其中游泳.

     这本书是对《约翰福音》呈献的两卷助读书中的第一本. 接下来的第二卷是包括第13到21
章.

Please come to this book with the heart and mind of a worshiper. John did not simply write a book; he painted exciting pictures. These pages are filled with images such as the Lamb, the Door, the  Shepherd, the new birth, the light and darkness, the Water of Life, bread, blindness, seeds, and dozens more. Use your "sanctified imagination" as you study and the Gospel of John will become a new book to you.

     And, remember, you are not studying a book --- you are seeing a Person. "And we beheld His glory . . . full of grace and truth (John 1:14).   

请以虔诚敬拜的心灵来读《约翰福音》.  约翰不只是简单地撰写本书; 他还绘画出令人兴奋的图像.  如活画在页面的, 羔羊, 羊门, 好牧羊人, 新生儿, 光明与黑暗, 生命之水, 面包, 瞎眼的人, 种子和更多生动的画像. 若带着 “成圣的想象力”来研读约翰福音时, 它将成为你的一本灿烂的新书.

     且记住, 你不是在研读约翰福音, 而是在看 “道成肉身” 的耶稣.   “我们看到祂的荣耀……充充满满的有恩典, 有真理” (约 1:14).
